Hybrid wireless addressable fire alarm system
- Ekho is Hochiki's hybrid wireless addressable fire alarm system intended for use in sites where wiring is difficult or impossible, cultural monuments, temporary installations and other scenarios for fire alarm systems.
- The system operates under the Hochiki ESP protocol, which allows the use of an addressable control panel supporting this protocol – Hochiki Latitude, Kentec -Taktis, NSC - Solution F1/F2
- Hybrid system means that standard Hochiki wired detectors can be used within 1 addressable loop, and where a wireless solution is needed connects transmitter EK-WL8-TRH (wired on the loop) and extender EK-WL8-EXP (wireless), to which up to 126 wireless devices can be connected
- Maximum number of devices on the loop: 127
- Each device occupies an address (including the translator and the extender)
- If it is necessary to increase the signal transmission distance, extension modules are used
- The distance between the translator and the extender can be up to 2000m * and 1200m * between extender and detector (Distances are in open space)
- To use "Mesh network" it is necessary to have at least 2 extenders
- Operating frequency - 868-870 MHz
- Before designing, installing and even bidding on a wireless system, it is necessary to conduct a signal survey of the locations where the translators and detectors are to be located
- To obtain the necessary testing of the signal equipment, contact a Sectron regional office or your account manager.
