• Motion Controlled Lights

The Shelly Plus Add-On can also be connected to a PIR sensor to light up rooms you occasionally use in the house. That way, when you enter the room, the light will be on for as long as needed.

• Watering only when needed

Have a beautiful garden is not an easy task and automating your irrigation system can save you time and optimize your costs. Together with a soil moisture sensor, the Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger the Shelly Plus 1 to turn on irrigation only when needed, always skipping rainy days.

• Awning that follows the weather

Outdoor motorized awnings offer pleasant shade for your guests on sunny days. However, strong winds can damage them beyond repair. By combining a wind sensor connected to the Shelly Plus AddOn and the Shelly Plus 2PM can automatically close the outer awning to protect it from the wind. In addition, the combination of the Shelly Plus Add-On with a rain sensor can trigger the Shelly Plus 2PM to open the awning just in time to protect your guests from the rain.

• Control your lights based on the illuminance

Together with the LDR (photoresistor), the Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger the Shelly Plus 2PM to open the blinds when the room is too dark and it is still daytime. Furthermore,when the light is low, Shelly Plus Add-on can trigger Shelly Plus 1 to turn on the lights at the right time.
