SALTO XS4 Portable Programming Device

 XS4 is the new SALTO access control platform that allows users to control and manage a wider range of applications. To perform routine tasks such as editing new user keys, setting up access control plans, emergency opening in extreme situations, and others, SALTO has developed a useful set of tools.
• Initialisation of locks: PPD allows to set the basic data of each lock during system setup by programming the information required for startup.
• Diagnosis of electronic locks: Through the PPD, data is read about the status of the electronic locks, such as: Lock firmware version, serial number, free memory lock, battery status, time and date of the electronic lock.
• Emergency opening: Through PPD, it is possible to open the door in case the key card is lost when the lock is in the privacy mode or if the batteries do not provide enough power and can not be unlocked via an electronic card.
• Collection of audit data: collects all events that are made and saved by the lock to be on the system computer for later analysis.
• Update the locks: Through the PPD, electronic locks are updated with the latest access plan data for optimal performance of the system; time, canceled, black list with card keys.
• Firmware update: PPD updates the SALTO electronic locksmith firmware to improve device performance and reliability by installing the latest firmware version.
• Autonomous power supply: 3 alkaline batteries - LR03 - AAA 1.5V.
• Link to product range XS4 2.0: contactless via NFC technology.
• A special lock cable that is included with the device
